Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week raises awareness of effective programs for children’s mental health needs, demonstrates how children’s mental health initiatives promote positive youth development, recovery and resilience, and shows how children with mental health needs thrive in their communities. In conjunction with Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has announced that May 8 will be a national day of recognition. During the month of May, please wear a green ribbon to show your support for services that provide assistance to children with mental health disorders and their families.

This training will be held in Ft. Mitchell at the Drawbridge Inn and is for school resource officers, directors, superintendents, safe schools coordinators and committee members, Title V coordinators, principals, teachers, guidance counselors, school board members and attorneys.
